Protests have continued in the United States and around the world against President Trump's temporary travel ban on people from seven Muslim-majority countries. The 90 day ban was imposed on Friday and affects travel to the United States by citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. This morning President Trump defended his order, tweeting that there are "a lot of bad 'dudes' out there". He has repeatedly said that the move is aimed at protecting the nation against extremists looking to attack Americans and American interests. Murtadha al-Tameemi, 24, is an Iraqi software engineer for Facebook who lives and works in Seattle. He now can't travel over the Canadian border to Vancouver to see the rest of his family.
