Fiona and Ali: The Joy of Wild Water Swimming

The Listening Project

Available for over a year

Two Keswick friends have found their thing in a Lakeland dip. Both Nurses, they balance a stressful job and raising a family with a hobby that is an antidote to extreme sports. Bathing in Derwentwater they've discovered a Lake District away from the tourists, that they can enjoy on their own terms. It's helped Fiona deal with the death five years ago of her six and three quarter year old son, and given Ali the peace of mind to hold the fort while husband Tim climbs Everest.
