Iran drops Trump visa ban on US wrestlers

The Newsroom

Available for over a year

Iran says it will grant visas for a US team to compete in the Wrestling World Cup in Tehran next month. The Americans were initially refused travel documents in retaliation for President Trump's ban on Iranians travelling to the United States. The change of policy was partly a response to the US court ruling that suspended Mr. Trump's order. The President of United World Wrestling, Nenad Lalovic told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Alex Ritson that he was delighted. (Picture: Iranian and US wrestlers stand shoulder-to-shoulder.
