Racing: Jamie Snowden on the richest hurdle race

Andrew Peach

Available for over a year

The Lambourn trainer talks about excitement for the season's richest handicap hurdle race. "It's a very valuable prize which is up for grabs, like all these handicaps it will be mighty competitive, and any number of horses may be able to win it. "It fits in very nicely into the calendar, many of people use it as a last prep run before the [Cheltenham] festival. "We've had a good season in terms of winners, and ratios in terms of winners to runners. "We are slightly lacking a top horse, a couple of years ago we had Present View going to win at the Festival."
