Should a controversial therapy for autism be more available?

Radio 4 in Four

Available for over a year

An expensive therapy for children with autism may become more widely available, after a mother took her local education authority to court. The case was supported by a group of parents campaigning for what’s called Applied Behavioural Analysis. It involves teaching children one-to-one and the parents believe it should be available to every child with autism. Melanie Abbott has been talking to some of those parents. First broadcast on You & Yours, 16 February 2017.
