Two brothers, one green card

Boston Calling

Available for over a year

Abdi Nor and Hassan Iftin are refugees from Somalia -- one of the countries on President Trump’s travel ban list. The brothers left the country to escape the Islamist extremist group al Shabaab. Abdi got lucky. He is a green card holder and now lives in the US. But Hassan is now stuck in Nairobi, Kenya. Leo Hornak has been following their story for years. A few minutes later, Abdi boarded a flight to start a new life as a green card holder in the US. The brothers have not been able to meet since. Credit: Leo Hornak)
