A court found Michael Overd - a self-proclaimed preacher from Taunton - guilty of a religiously aggravated public order offence, after he told a crowd in Bristol that Mohammed and Buddha were liars and that pre-marital sex was against God's law. His critics - and the authorities - say prosecuting him helps to keep the West free from hate and intolerance. But Michael and his supporters argue that he has a right to express his views, and that his freedom of speech is being oppressed. Here he is, in his own words, talking to Jack Murley.
