Veteran entertainer Ken Dodd has received a knighthood for services to entertainment and charity. Comedians Jimmy Cricket and Ted Robbins reflected on what made him such a good entertainer. Jimmy Cricket said: "It became an art-form with Ken. "In different parts of the country he knew what would work well." Referring to how long Ken's shows were, Ted Robbins said: "He would come on with sandwiches and a flask and say 'did you not bring anything?'"
