5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

A farmer has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 5 live he’s destroying £80k worth of cauliflower because supermarkets are importing from Spain to meet consumer demand. Speaking to Adrian Chiles, Geoffrey Philpott from Kent said he's disappointed that the majority of his large vegetable crop is set to go to waste. "The biggest problem is the English weather; we do have flashes of cauliflower or we do have shortages." This clip is originally from 5 live Daily on Tuesday 7 March 2017.
