Bill Nelson tells Mark and Stuart about pulling back from the brink of massive success with Be-Bop Deluxe in favour of a bespoke approach. Famous for being the main songwriter and guitarist in the 70s rock group Be-Bop Deluxe (Ships in the Night, Maid in Heaven), Yorkshire-born Bill went to art college where he developed a love of poet and filmmaker Jean Cocteau. He then went onto form new wave band Red Noise and also released a solo single Do You Dream in Colour? He's collaborated with SO MANY people - A Flock of Seagulls, John Cooper Clarke, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Gary Numan, The Skids, Cabaret Voltaire, to name a few - and is here to talk about some of his latest reissues.
