Royals boss Jaap Stam says that it was the small errors which cost his side at Deepdale. Stam said that despite 'starting quite okay', he believes 'only the small things matter', and by getting them wrong, it cost Reading against Preston. He also admitted he was happy to abandon his footballing philosophy if the situation demanded.
