In fact, Claire from North Petherton spent almost half a century living two different lives - one as the father and husband the outside world knew, and another as the woman she knew she was born to be. Claire has never spoken publicly about being transgender - but finally got the confidence after hearing some of the stories ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Somerset has done on LGBT+ life in the county.
