The 'Big Brother' house for cats

The Newsroom

Available for over a year

You are probably aware of the "Big Brother" TV programme - where a group of people are cooped up in a small house and evicted by a popular vote over several weeks, and everything they do is monitored by TV cameras. The first episodes were some twenty years ago. So where does reality TV go next? The answer - "Keeping up with the Kattarshians". That's reality TV with cats - watching stray kittens twenty four hours a day in a feline-size Big Brother style house. Icelandic TV executive Inga Lind Karlsdóttir told the Newsroom's Alex Ritson how it works: (Photo: The "Keeping up with the Kattarshians" house. Credit: Skot Productions)
