An increase in anti-social behaviour fuelled by the former so called legal-high 'Spice' has prompted a police crackdown in Manchester. The drug is said to leave users in a "zombie-like" state. Two homeless people in the city have told us what it's like to take the drug. One man told us "I've taken it. It's not very good, not very good for the system you know? I've had friends take it. I've seen friends collapse off it. One minute you're taking it, and then next you get hooked and you lose control". Greater Manchester Police said it received 31 calls in the 24 hours after it launched a two-day banning order in the city centre. One woman, who has also tried the drug, told us "everyone on the streets is smoking it, it's like heroin. It's cheaper than cannabis, it's £5. So that's why they're getting it".
