This Easter weekend hundreds of people climbed into canoes to paddle the 125 miles of the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race. Among the competitors in the 24 hour non-stop race were the TV presenter and naturalist Steve Backshall and his wife Helen, the double Olympic rowing champion.
