Former Lib Dem manifesto writer David Laws has told 5 live that putting one together in a hurry can lead to political mistakes. “They'll certainly be completed much more rapidly, almost in a panic.” Political parties will have less than two months to assemble their manifestos after Theresa May announced a snap election for the 8th of June.
