Julian Barratt on how Mindhorn was almost made in Hollywood

Radio 4 in Four

Available for over a year

Mindhorn is the new film about a faded TV star who reprises his role as an Isle of Man sleuth who has a robotic eye, and can see the truth. Julian Barratt (Mighty Boosh) and Simon Farnaby (Horrible Histories) co-wrote and co-star. They talk to Kirsty Lang about poking fun at actorly behaviour, why the film was almost picked up by Hollywood and how it parodies Bergerac and the Sixty Million Dollar Man. First broadcast on Front Row, 2 May 2017.
