World Update

Available for over a year

Campaigning has finished in South Korea's presidential election, called after the impeachment of President Park. The campaign has been waged against a background of heightened tension with North Korea and the deployment of the US THAAD anti-missile system in South Korea, bringing an angry response from Beijing and Pyongyang. The former president's party has been dissolved and new ones formed, including one that claims to break the mould. Dan Damon reports from Seoul.
