Manchester attack: Tattooist offers to ink bee symbol to support victims

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

A Manchester based tattooist has designed a bee tattoo to raise money for the families of victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack. Sam Barber has had support from tattoo studios across Manchester, and as far out as Australia. Sam is offering to tattoo the bee, which has long been the symbol of the city, for a £50 donation. She told 5 live’s Tony Livesey: “There are so many people wanting to get involved.” “We’ve even had some of the paramedics who were on scene coming forward saying they wanted the Manchester bee tattoo to represent what’s happened.” This clip is originally from 5 live Drive on 23 May 2017.
