'Black women only' event in Paris faces ban for discriminating

World Update

Available for over a year

Organisers of the Nyansapo Festival say that only one of the events will be kept exclusively for black women. The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, said she reserves the right to prosecute the organisers for "discrimination". Dan Damon asked one of the organisers, Farah Merdarbi, why she feels that a black women only event is necessary.
