What does the world's most dangerous cheese taste like?

The Food Chain

Available for over a year

Casu Marzu is a traditional Sardinian cheese made by the digestive action of the larvae of the cheese fly Piophila casei. It is often described as the world's most dangerous cheese as the larvae can jump up to 15cm in the air, and the cheese is typically eaten when they are still alive. None of that put the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Vivienne Nunis off trying some. (Image: A wheel of Casu Marzu. Copyright: Vivienne Nunis)
