Are Ryanair sitting family rows apart if they don't pay?

Radio 4 in Four

Available for over a year

When you fly with budget airlines, you know you’ll have to pay extra for lots of things. Checking in a bag, say, or a cup of tea on board. When it comes to reserved seats, though, many people don’t bother to pay. They ask to sit together and take their chances at check-in. But now, some passengers are accusing Ryanair of putting a stop to that by placing couples many rows apart and sticking customers who don’t pay to reserve in the worst seats. First broadcast on You & Yours, 31 May 2017.
