Newshour

Available for over a year

Jack O'Neill, the American surfer who helped invent the wetsuit, has died at the age of 94. His friends were sceptical when he pioneered the neoprene wetsuit in the 1950s. But O'Neill went on to become one of the world's best known surf brands. According to Irish surfer Richie Fitzgerald, he was a trailblazer. (Image: Jack O'Neill. Credit: O'Neill)
