The Weeping Angels are a fictional race of predatory creatures from the sci-fi series Doctor Who. Since their initial appearance in the 2007 episode Blink, they have been persistently nominated as one of the most popular and frightening Doctor Who monsters. Their creator Steven Moffat spoke to Samira Ahmed at the Hay Festival 2017 about the inspiration behind the creepy characters. First broadcast on Front Row, 6 June 2017.
