The Sunday News

Available for over a year

Imagine the horror of being struck by a lightning bolt along with your two children while on the school run? A year ago that's exactly what happened to County Antrim Dad of six Geordie Allen as he was collecting his young son Geordie Junior, then aged 5, and seven year old daughter Georgha from Killowen Primary School in Lisburn. He wasn't expected to survive. In his first broadcast interview - one year on from the freak accident - he told presenter Jayne McCormack about his remarkable recovery.
