Is Gay Pride missing at Abercrombie and Fitch?

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The US garment maker Abercrombie and Fitch has stirred up an internet firestorm after it sent a message out on Twitter which seemed to say Gay Pride is not just for gay people. The tweet, which has since been deleted, read: "The Pride community is everybody, not just LGBTQ people. - Kayla, merchandiser." June is being celebrated as Pride Month around the world and Abercrombie was trying to promote its latest limited edition brand in a tie-up with The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention hotline for young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Matt Cain, the Editor in Chief of Attitude magazine, has been telling the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ why Abercrombie and Fitch should have been more sensitive. (Abercrombie and Fitch shirt. Getty Images.)
