Conservative MP Stephen Crabb has said a number of Tory election pledges could be dropped following general election result. Speaking to 5 live’s Rachel Burden Mr Crabb described the pledge to increase the number of grammar schools as “difficult to get through” and said plan to scrap free school meals “will go”. On the re-introduction on fox hunting, Crabb said: “It was the moment on the doorstep where things started to sour. It was a difficult issue for us.” When asked what he thought would stay, he said: “Our skills policy has a lot of support, investing more in skills and vocational education, that has a lot of support in the business community and from some in the Labour party.” This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on Tuesday 13 June 2017.
