Smith: “South Africa need to find some rhythm and confidence”

Stumped

Available for over a year

Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith hopes South Africa "get it together" ahead of the first Test against England at Lord's. Speaking at the launch of South Africa's T20 Global League, the former batsman also said that England’s captain Joe Root shouldn’t be feeling the pressure of captaincy just yet. England have had a history of captains being undone by the Proteas, with Nasser Hussain, Michael Vaughan and Andrew Strauss quitting during their home series against South Africa. Graeme Smith was South Africa’s captain on all three occasions. Picture credit: Graeme Smith attends the South African national cricket team training session (Getty Images)
