In this week’s Long Interview, Gordon Brewer speaks to Jon Oberlander, Professor of Epistemics, the scientific study of knowledge, at Edinburgh University. Professor Oberlander’s mission is to get computers to talk, and write, like people. To that end he collaborates with linguists, psychologists, computer scientists and social scientists.
