Niki Yang is a South Korean animator who's worked on a number of well-known cartoons including Family Guy and Adventure Time - for which she's the voice of BMO (Beemo), a talking video games console. But despite her extensive experience, even she has caught herself out when it comes to thinking about gender in cartoons - she says we all have to work harder to counteract that culture.
