World Business Report

Available for over a year

President dos Santos is stepping down. His Defence Minister João Lourenço is widely expected to win the election, overcoming his main rival Isaías Samakuva of the UNITA party. Angola is Africa's second largest oil producer. It's been badly affected by the global fall in oil prices and that's had flow-on effects for the rest of the economy. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Mayeni Jones is in Luanda and spoke to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Vivienne Nunis about Angola's economic woes. Photo: Marco Longari/ AFP/ Getty Images
