Last week it was announced that a series of hard drives containing 10 of fantasy author Terry Pratchett’s unfinished novels had been crushed to prevent them from ever being published. Despite being a publishing goldmine, the posthumous publication of unfinished novels raises all sorts of ethical questions. Isabel Fraser spoke to literary critic Stuart Kelly about the subject.
