Froome: 'Not impossible' to win 3 Tours in one year

Today

Available for over a year

Team Sky's Chris Froome yesterday won the Vuelta a Espana after leading the general classification from the middle of the first of the race's three weeks to the finish. It is his first Vuelta title after three second places in previous races and he joins two of the sport’s biggest names - Jacques Anquetil and Bernard Hinault - as the only men to have won the race and the Tour de France in the same season. Froome says it "wouldn’t be impossible" to win three Tours in one year – Giro, Vuelta and the Tour. (Image: Chris Froome, credit: Getty Images)
