A hoarder is someone who collects items that appear to have very little monetary or sentimental value to most people, and stores them in a chaotic manner. Hoarding disorders can stem from other mental health problems, such as depression, OCD and anxiety. Liane Lurie, a clinical psychologist in Johannesburg, explains more about the condition.
