It's been described as the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history. A gunman, named as 64-year-old local resident Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas at an open-air music festival. Scores were killed and hundreds were injured. The gunman, who's thought to have acted alone, killed himself.
