'Why we resumed Mckeague landfill search'

Stephen Foster

Available for over a year

More than two months after the search of a landfill site was halted in the Corrie Mckeague investigation, police say they are to return. The airman disappeared on a night out in Bury St Edmunds in September 2016. Det Supt Katie Elliott from Suffolk Police says the force has spoken to Corrie's mum and dad to explain the decision and share in detail the reasons behind it. The new search is expected to last four to six weeks.
