BAE Systems: Future bright despite job cuts

Today

Available for over a year

The defence giant BAE Systems is expected to announce a large round of job cuts today, at sites in the UK that manufacture the Euro-fighter Typhoon Jet. Around 2,000 jobs are thought to be going. In spite of this, however, Howard Wheeldon, independent defence, aerospace and industry analyst says the future does still look bright as there are contracts that will be coming down the line. But he does say there will be "readjustments across the board". (Image: BAE systems, credit: Reuters)
