28-year-old Tom Staniford is a former National Para-Cycling Champion and one of only 8 people in the world battling with an extremely rare condition called MDP syndrome. In 2011, he became the youngest ever solo rider to win the senior title at just 21. Juggling a full-time training schedule and busy working life along with the syndrome which affects him profoundly, Tom explains the huge impact that his hearing aid has had on his life, He joined us in the studio to tell us a bit more about his incredible story...
