Steve Mason (solo artist and onetime Beta Ban man) and Primal Scream keyboard player extraordiare Martin Duffy have united on new project called Alien Stadium. The two go back a long way and are both currently living in Brighton but kept meeting on the number 7 bus - and slowly developed this idea for a conceptual collection of songs. So they have developed a concept mini album called 'Livin' In Elizabethean Times'. It's due for release on the 1st December and contains four tracks which have been arranged in a specific order to tell the story of the pair inviting aliens to planet Earth. New track 'This One's For The Humans' leads the way - we've been playing that on 6 Music - and opens the album with the others following in order; 1. This One's For The Humans 2. The Visitation 3. The Moon Is Not Your Friend 4. Titanic Dance This album is somewhat a meeting of minds so 6 Music's Clare Crane spoke to the pair to find out more about it.....
