Matching the names to the bodies

Charlie Taylor

Available for over a year

Volunteers at the Mendip Hospital Cemetery in Wells are trying to match the names to the bodies there. Nearly 3,000 people who were at the Somerset and Bath Pauper Lunatic Asylum were buried in the cemetery, but their grave markers were removed in the 1970s.
