Reading FC: Shorey encouraged by recent performances

Weekend Kick-Off

Available for over a year

Former Royals left-back Nicky Shorey thinks Reading will push on in the Championship. After two victories before the international break, Shorey hopes the Royals can start to climb the table. "The last two games have been very good," Shorey told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "Hopefully they can keep that momentum going now. "If they can get a result at home (in their next match against Wolves), it sets them up very nicely for the rest of the season." And Shorey admits, the transition into life after playing has been smoother than he imagined. "I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. "I had my time, it's a young man's game, and I am enjoying helping the youngsters now."
