The Magpies centre-back Jake Goodman knows how crucial the Woking draw was for his side. Maidenhead United drew 1-1 away to Woking to stop a run of two consecutive losses in all competitions. "We changed the way we played," Goodman told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Adam Whitty. "We've been a little bit open, especially in the last game. "Today we really went back to basics...to stop the rot." And Goodman is delighted to be given the opportunity in recent weeks to establish himself as a first choice centre-back. "It's nice getting a run of games. "[Manager Alan Devonshire] got me really fit, and I'm just reaping the rewards of playing every week now."
