Set up through Connection at St Martins for the R4 Appeal week. The Connection at St Martin's is a homelessness charity in central London. At the time of recording, Pam had been the CEO of the charity for six months after a career spent working in charity, and specifically with homelessness charities for the previous fourteen years. Sam has been the vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields for five years. Ordained in 1991 he has spent much of his ministry in areas of social disadvantage. He is closely involved with the charity. During their conversation they discuss the experiences that have brought them there.
