Terry Waite recounts his time held captive in Lebanon

Sarah Walker

Available for over a year

Former hostage Terry Waite talks about his time being held captive in Lebanon, and how the experience changed his life. Terry Waite, former hostage: "Looking back I believe it has been in many respects, extraordinarily helpful. It has enabled me to take a more realistic of myself. "If you dwell or become too depressed by the dark side, you learn slowly to balance yourself a little more inwardly. I'm enormously grateful for that because it enabled me to explore a more creative side in myself I didn't know I had. "There we positive things that emanated from it."
