“I’m happy whenever anyone uses the Bible as long as they use it with integrity.”
Beyond BeliefAvailable for over a year
Just before the 2015 General Election, the Bishops of the Church of England issued a pastoral letter called ‘Who is my neighbour?’ It used the story of the Good Samaritan to raise important issues about society. David Walker, the Bishop of Manchester, was one of the signatories to the pastoral letter. Ernie began by asking him what point the Bishops were making. The Bishop then gives his views on how politicians have used the parable and what it means to him.
