The Newsroom

Available for over a year

Since the 1960s, NASA has completed a number of successful missions to Mars. Despite that, scientists say they have still barely scratched the surface of the Red Planet. In order to dig a little deeper, NASA will launch a new lander which will start travelling to Mars in May. Bruce Banerdt is one of the leaders of the mission - and after sharing his favourite ever selfie, told Alex Ritson what he hopes to find.
