Reading's newest signing Tommy Elphick came on as a second half substitute in Burton win. The Royals scored two goals after Elphick's introduction, to secure their first win in nine league games. "I think the lads were just a little bit low on confidence," Elphick told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "Leadership is one of my skills. "Sometimes when you're on a bit of a bad run you can forget you're a good player. "Sometimes you need ugly wins like we've done tonight to come through the other side and hopefully go on a little run."
