‘I married a homeless man living under a bush’

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

In 2006, writer Emmy Abrahamson was on a work trip to Amsterdam, when a homeless man sat next to her on a bench, and asked her for the time. Vic Kocula was living under a bush and according to Emmy despite him smelling “a bit ripe”, there was an instant attraction. Fast forward twelve years, and they're married, with six year old twins. This clip is originally from Phil Williams on 13 February 2018.
