Former hospital turned care home to shut

Stephen Foster

Available for over a year

Forty elderly residents of an Ipswich care home are having to find new places to live - after the company that owns the home announced it is closing due to lack of demand. Anglesea Heights is well known to many in the town - before it became a nursing home, it was the old Ipswich Hospital. Owners, Bupa, say it will shut once alternative places had been found for all the residents. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Suffolk's Vikki Irwin has been talking to people outside the home.
