Roller coaster designer Fraser Ross

Dream Job

Available for over a year

Fraser tells Bryan about how his first roller coaster ride, as very young child, was nearly his last! Fraser was petrified! But when he next went on a roller coaster as a teenager it was completely different. Fraser yelled his head off and really enjoyed the ride. It also planted the seed of an idea - that designing roller coasters could be his dream job. Fraser didn't achieve his dream job straight away - he started out as a maths teacher. But as Fraser explains to Bryan, maths is a very useful thing to know about when it comes to creating a thrilling ride. Fraser also describes what an imaginary roller coaster around the human body might be like, what the sensations we experience on a roller coaster are all about - and the one thing never to wear when on a theme park ride!
